Adam Mallinger - Writer/Director
A life-long comic book geek and proud owner of a complete 22-year run of Superman comics, Adam Mallinger is a graduate of Denison University with a BA in Cinema. During his time at Denison, he not only wrote and directed several short films, but he was also the show-runner on the half-hour student-produced soap opera, The Best Years of Our Lives, during his junior and senior years. The series was to be the flagship show of Denison’s student-cable network, the brain-child of an ambitious group of Denison students, including Matt Bolish. Though ultimately there wasn’t enough interest from students and faculty to allow the project to flourish, it marked the first of several creative collaboration between Adam and Matt. When yearly visits to the San Diego ComicCon inspired the project that would become Booth Girls, Adam knew Matt and his Tomorrow the World collaborators were the right men for the job. When he’s not obsessively bagging and cataloging his comic book collection, Adam can be found working on his screenplays.
